What I Did as a Kid
The amazing find of my high school photography "career". My sister sends me a shoe box full of a small part of my photography efforts from the fifties. My High School work as Photo Editor for the Newtown Observer. My street wanderings around New York City and my incredible chance to take pictures of some iconic celebrities. It's been a long road to restore these and hopefully give them an audience.

41 imagesDay after day, my job as the school newspaper photographer gave me amazing shots, which now prove to be an unique insight into the goings on of that strange and wondrous era's educational environment. There is a universality to the processes captured here that continues to intrigue me.
29 imagesNow this was escapism for me. I would literally walk all day to find these scenes and go to Young People's Concerts and photo shows. Too bad film was so expensive for me.
